concept:
rather than demolishing the existing
building we propose to add two walk-up
units on the roof.

energy concept:
rather than orienting both units away from each other, the north-facing unit makes use of sunlight from above the south-facing rear residence for winter solar gain.
the outer shell consists of Insulated Concrete Forms and triple-insulated windows.
